When can I expect my order?
We ship orders with FedEx Ground, Monday - Friday during business hours (9am - 5pm EST). Once your order is processed, you will recieve a confirmation email including your FedEx Ground tracking number.
Who do I call if I have a question about my order?
Questions regarding orders can be answered Monday - Friday during business hours (9am - 5pm EST) via email.
Is sales tax charged on my order?
If you are a resident of North Carolina, the appropriate state and county taxes will be charged to your order. If you live outside of the state of North Carolina, there will not be sales tax charged.
Can I pay for my package to be shipped on a Saturday?
We process orders Monday - Friday during business hours (9am - 5pm EST). Any order submitted on a weekend will be processed the following Monday morning.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept credit card payments from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. If you have an Umstead Gift Card that you would like to redeem, please contact The Gift Shop directly to place your order at 919-447-4065.
I just placed my order, what happens next?
If your order was placed Monday - Friday during business hours (9am - 5pm EST) we will begin processing your order immediately! Your product(s) will be packed up carefully and sent off. You will recieve a confirmation email including your FedEx Ground tracking number.
What happens if I place an order on a weekend?
Your order will be processed for fullfillment and shipment on the following Monday!
Can I track my order?
Once your order is placed and confirmed by us, you will recieve a confirmation email including your FedEx Ground tracking number.
What is the return policy?
We accept returns made within 30 days. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Perishable goods such as food are exempt from being returned.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 100 Woodland Pond Drive, Cary, North Carolina, US, 27513. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Can I request gift wrapping for my item?
Currently we are unable to offer gift wrapping through the online store. If you would like to inquire about gift wrapping please call The Gift Shop directly at 919-447-4065 or via email.
I live outside of the United States, can I still place an order?
Currently we are only processing orders through the Online Store that originate from a US address. If you are an international customer, we'd be delighted to assist you. Please call The Gift Shop directly at 919-447-4065 or contact us via email.
Can I pay for faster shipping?
